The After-Party: Weekend Crafting

weekend crafting

I’m so happy that another weekend is finally here! The sun is shining, it’s actually not too chilly out and the husband is home, which means I get some crafting time. I don’t know how other bloggers get stuff done during the week or have any time for themselves with little ones at home. So when the weekend rolls around and daddy’s home, I finally get some much needed time for myself. This weekend I’m hoping to get some crafting done for some upcoming events. It’s funny how this equates to a relaxing weekend for me. Oh how times have changed!

My weekend reads include some crafty links this week so if you’re getting out the glue gun this weekend, hopefully you’ll enjoy some of these! (Don’t worry, there’s some non-craft links too!)

Real Simple has some really great Easter craft ideas for kids.

Leave it to Martha Stewart to come up with cute DIY envelope fasteners.

If you’re not the crafty type, you can just use these printables for Easter crafts.

Loving this round up of bright and cheerful spring craft ideas.

A yummy Easter candy to try your hand at that includes chocolate and peanut butter. Yes, please!

You know I love a garden party and this Beatrix Potter themed party is so cute and pretty!

Nothing says spring like some sparkly new baubles and we love this collab from Nordstrom and Bauble Bar.

Another collaboration that I’m adding to my spring wish list, these sweet polka dot sneakers from Kate Spade and Keds.

Don’t forget that our Honeymoon Giveaway is still going on!!

Whether you’re crafting, shopping, celebrating or just plain relaxing this weekend, I hope it’s a great one!

We had some sun this weekend too, it was awesome! So glad you had some time to craft 😉 Luckily my son is in school now, so I get to take advantage during the day. It’s really amazing!
